Green Earth Textiles Chinese Prefolds

These DSQ (Diaper Service Quality) prefolds will quilt up (shrink) and become fluffy after they are washed and dried a few times. The Natural Prefolds are the natural color of the cotton and have not been bleached. It is recommended to prewash the Natural Prefolds separate from other diapers about 5 times before the first use to get rid of natural oils and bring them to full absorbency. After the intial washes they may be washed with other diapers. They will continue to become more absorbant through the next few washes.

Prefolds may simply be folded and layed into a diaper cover. For best results with newborns and smaller babies a fastener such as a Snappi® or diaper pin is recommended to help contain messes.

Preemie and Newborn prefolds may be used later as doublers or inserts for pocket diapers.
